Generational Wealth

In our newest episode of STAND, we are joined by Dr. Alveda King, the niece of Martin Luther King Jr, and former NFL player Junior Aumavae. We learn the personal stories of both these unique individuals and discuss where their passions and advocacy lie, discovering the beauty of generational wealth.

With Dr. King, our conversation extends to the unborn, as she calls out the negative effects of abortions on the black community. Dr. King shares her own experiences with abortion and miscarriage to bring a personal understanding to her advocacy. We also get Dr. King’s take on the incorporation of CRT into the school systems and how she negatively views its impact on Black America.

In the second half of our show, we talk to Junior Aumavae, who played for the Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets. We discuss his ascent from humble beginnings in American Samoa to the stadiums of the NFL. As we listen to Junior’s story unfold, we see the transformative power of personal choice and the impact of positive mentorship. His narrative serves as a testament to the unwavering human spirit that is formed and grown by adversity.

Both Dr. Alveda King and Junior Aumavae serve as inspirational leaders in their communities. In discussing their life stories, we discover the amazing success that personal accountability and community empowerment can produce within individuals. By repeating the cycle and sharing the fruits of success, families and communities can build up generational wealth, empowering others to be successful.
